Post Medieval inscribed gold finger ring. The ring has an external diameter of 22.33m and an internal diameter of 18.31mm. The band is 'D' shaped in cross section measuring 4.96mm wide and 1.70mm thick. Weight 6.61 grams. This gold finger-ring, with plain exterior and D-shaped section is inscribed inside: "God alone made us too one". There are remnants of black enamel in the lettering. Gold Post-Medieval finger ring from the late 17th/ 18th centuries. The ring is complete and in good condition. It is decorated on the outside and has an inscription on the inside. The exterior decoration consists of raised diagonal ridges which have punched annulets along them in a irregular manner. The inscription inside is either in French or latin but it is hard to work out. The lettering is very stylised and appears to read ' ..... le bleu'.
