A rectangular strip of beaten gold sheet of thickness 0.3mm, with crisp folds along one long edge and at one end, and with a corrugated appearance suggesting seven or eight subsequent folds along its length; now flattened. Though the form is undiagnostic, it is likely this object may represent the working of precious metal in antiquity, probably more than 300 years ago. Description: Small hemispherical or plano-convex gold button, now incomplete. The circular front is domed and has a few shallow dents, showing that the button is hollow. The back was flat, but is now slightly concave; a soldered seam is visible in a few places around the edge. Two stubs of a loop survive in the centre of the back, with a crack around them suggesting that the broken loop has been pushed a little way into the hollow interior.

The ring is circular with a concave outer surface and flat internal surface. The external surface is decorated with incised decoration of scrolling with three oval panels divided by opposing crescents. Each panel contains a single word reading: "a mon amye" which translates "to/for my beloved". There are traces of white enamel in one recess of the panel containing "a". Gold finger ring with a D-shape cross-section hoop, the inside edge has a deep channel running around a quarter of its length with is the result of poor manufacturing. The flat inside is engraved with the inscription ‘At your servic’ the C has an elongated top that maybe decorative or the result of the distorting of the internal edge of the ring. There is a circle at the end of the inscription that maybe an unintelligible maker’s mark.

A gold gem-set ring of Medieval date with an oval cabochon stone which remains in place. The bezel is constructed from gold sheet and is hollow and rectangular, 12.5mm by 11mm with a trapezoidal cross section which expands outwards and is 5.9mm thick. The stone is pale blue, most likely a large sapphire. The internal diameter of the hoop is 19.4mm. The hoop has a D-shaped cross section 1.5mm thick and tapers from the shoulders, where it is soldered to the bezel, around to the opposite side, where is has been deliberately cut at an oblique angle.

A Medieval gold noble of Henry V (1413-1422), class E / F mule (North 1373 / 1374; Spink 1744 / 1746) dating to the period AD1413-1422, mint: London. Ref: North 1991: 69.
The coin is in good condition, with a small crease on one side of the flan.
On the obverse there is a pellet at the sword point, a trefoil by the shield, an annulet on hull and a mullet by sword arm characteristic of Class E; the reverse has a trefoil of pellets in one quarter on the reverse, characteristic of Class F.

An incomplete Iron Age uninscribed gold stater of the North Eastern region / Corieltavi, dating to the period c.50-20 BC, probably South Ferriby type. Obverse: Wreath, cloak and crescents. Reverse: Lunate horse left, double upper front legs 'anchor' face above, unclear motif below. cf. ABC p. 92, no. 1743; cf. BMC nos. 3148-3149 passim.
The coin has been pierced in two places, at about 1 o’clock on the obverse and (unsuccessfully) at 3 o’clock, with the loss of some of the edge of the coin.

A gold fragment of jewellery of suspected Roman-Early Medieval date. The fragment has a leaf-shaped gold plate onto which is soldered twisted wire and pellet decoration in the form of seven teardrops with pellets at the tip; these run in two outward-facing rows up the tapering length of the plate, with a final apical teardrop positioned at the tip and facing the opposite way.
