Gold Post Medieval finger ring, uncertain date. A plain gold band, with a slightly raised central ridge on the outside. The ring has been squashed out of shape but originally but have been round. The band is thin, and flat on the inside. Judy Rudoe (British Museum) has seen an image of this ring and is happy that it is undiagnostic, so cannot be assigned a pre-1700 date. As such it does not constitute Treasure.

An early uninscribed Iron Age gold stater, dating to c. 60-50 BC. Probably originating in the Southeast of England in areas attributed to native populations now known as the Regini and Atrebates peoples. One side depicts a crescentic, linear, and dotted design recently called 'wreath design with hidden faces'; the other side depicts a triple-tailed horse facing right, wheel below and charioteer's arms above. The coin is off-struck on the latter side, which means that some decorative elements were truncated. It measures 19.90 mm long, 17.75 mm wide, 3.43 mm approx. thickness, and weig…

An Iron Age possibly gold coin, or possibly the copper alloy core of a gold plated stater. The coin is damaged and may have been in a fire. It is probably a Corieltavi South Ferriby type dating from about 45 - 10 BC. Part of a disjointed horse is visible on the reverse, but the obverse is illegible (possibley due to obliterated dies). The coin is a pale golden yellow colour, but with areas of bright copper colour showing, especially where scratched. However, there is no clear gold layer suggesting that it was plated. Compare number 811-6 in Van Arsdell for example.
