A complete gold Ryal of Edward IV (AD 1461-1483), first reign. Light coinage. Central sunburst in cross reverse with lis at end of each arm and with a crowned lion in each angle within a tressure of eight arches. London mint. None/Crown initial mark. AD 1464-1470. Diameter: 34.98mm, Thickness: 1.16mm, Weight: 7.6g North Vol II, P 85, No 1549. The coin is bent and distorted with fractures to the outer flan.
