A complete gold quarter noble of the Medieval period from the reign of Henry VI , AD1422-1461.
Obverse description: A shield quartered with the arms of England and France within a tressure of eight arches.
Obverse inscription: hENRIC (lis) DI (trefoil) GRA (trefoil) REX (trefoil) ANGL.
Reverse description: A floriated cross with a lion passant within each quarter, all within a tressure of eight arches.
