Early Uninscribed British QC gold quarter stater. It has not been fully struck on the obverse - NB an area to the left and just above the 'line m' (Hobbs 1996).
The diameter is 12x11.5, it is max 1mm thick and weighs 1.26g.
Cf Hobbs 1996 no.486, which is about 2/3 the weight of the Wiltshire example.
This is slightly outside the usual Hants/ Berks/ Sussex area of the British Q type stater.
