A gold medieval gem set finger ring of 'stirrup' type, with the hoop expanding to a thickened bezel, 2.6mm wide and 1.2 thick with a recessed oval setting for a cabochon gem of around 3mm length, which is now lost. The hoop is extremely thin at between 0.6mm and 0.5mm thick and 0.7mm wide. It varies from sub oval to D-shaped in cross-section and has been bent out of shape; the original internal diameter was approximately 17mm. There are no marks or surface decoration.

The interior surface is flat and carries an engraved legend reading: * We Joyne our loue in criʃt aboue (we join our love in Christ above). A medieval gold 'stirrup' finger ring set with a single blue gemstone. The ring has an undecorated hoop with a plano-convex cross sectional profile, 2.4mm wide and 0.7mm thick, with an internal diameter of approximately 16mm. The bezel is pointed and triangular, 4.9mm high, with smooth shoulders which merge into the hoop. The ring is set with a single blue cabochon gemstone measuring 2.22mm by 1.1mm, which may be a sapphire. Diameter: 18.9mm, width (of hoop): 2.4mm, height: 21.5mm, weight 2.84g.

A small Roman ring made of gold, set with a single cabochon gemstone, probably an Almandine garnet. The stone has a domed surface and is sub-rectangular in shape, measuring 4.1mm by 3.2mm. The hoop is undecorated and has a plano-convex cross section at the shoulders, which tapers to a rounded cross section, 1.2mm thick, at the mid point of the hoop. The shoulders merge seamlessly into the bezel as per Guiraud (1989) Type 2c. The internal diameter of 12.9mm is possibly too small for a fully grown adult, suggesting that the ring may have belonged to a child or adolescent. Circa 1st to 2…

A fragmentary gold ring of suspected Medieval (c 1200 - 1500) date, with a single cabochon amethyst set into an oval bezel. The hoop has an internal diameter of 18.6mm and is made of flat sheet gold, which expands to meet the bezel and has moulded flanking borders at the shoulders. The bezel is 4.6mm high and 8.6mm wide and is made from thin sheet gold which forms a compartment around the unworked and sub-rounded amethyst stone.
