1. Merovingian coin pendant with (detached) gold suspension loop
Pale gold solidus of Sigebert III (634-56), minted in Marseille, pierced in order to be riveted to a suspension loop, now detached. The suspension loop comprises a rectangular strip of ribbed gold sheet with one terminal curved over into a loop.
