Gold coin fragment. A triangular sliver cut from a large hammered gold coin of James I (1603-1625), probably a unite, cf. Spink no. 2619, of the second coinage of 1604-1619, with part of legend and its granulated inner border on both sides.

Reverse description: Outer circle, corner of shield of Arms.
Reverse inscription: FAC[IAM---]
