Gold finger ring. A straight-sided strip of sheet metal with a reddish tinge, expanded at a plain bezel whose edges are defined by a double line of rouletted dots, eccentrically angled. A magnified view also reveals traces of a borderline of meandering curls, possibly formed in the same way. A pair of lines of similar dots are carried along either shoulder of the ring, where they flank a series of trefoil or leaf-like stamps; no more than six to each side. Gold bracteate fragment. A fragment torn from the edge of a pendant disc exceeding 20mm in its diameter, and of thickness 0.7mm, now crumpled and folded. A cabled border, a closely juxtaposed circle of tiny overlapping wedges, and an elongated looping tendril are visible from one side. The other side displays similar detail, perhaps reversed as a stamped impression, together with multiple straight and curved lines which presumably contributed to a more coherent design, now obscured. Gold annular brooch. Cast D-section band with a constriction for a cast tapered pin which is looped around the band. The convex display face bears a finely defined chevron motif, with V-shaped figures with internally indented edges confining strands of closely juxtaposed pellets, possibly in overlapping doubled rows. These were presumably stamped to achieve the fine definition observed here. The chevrons nest one within the next in a series originating and ending at the pin seat. The section is angular, with two low and probably worn facets on what is taken to have been the display or outer face, producing a gently keeled appearance.
