A Late Bronze Age (1150-750 BC) gold or gold-plated copper alloy penannular ring, circular in cross-section with cut or burred-over edges at the terminals; both bear traces of tooling marks. A small crack close to one terminal has a tiny spot of green corrosion attached to it. The object measures 15.6mm in length, 14.9mm in height, 5.5mm in max thickness and weighs 5.60g.The gap between the terminal is 2.6mm wide and the circular open centre measures 6.7x 6.1mm in 'diameter'. An incomplete gold medieval finger ring, missing a probable gem setting from its rectangular bezel. The hoop is squashed. A side view of the bezel is of two mirrored trapezoids on four sides, which have been placed together at an angle to create a space between for the missing setting. The length of the bezel is 9.5cm.
