A small gold annular brooch dating to the 13th-14th century. Circular frame that has a constriction bar on one side for the pin, which is now missing. The frame has a semicircular cross-section, with the flat surface forming the face of the brooch; this surface has been engraved with the inscription + A + G + L+ A. A complete Middle Bronze Age gold tripartite penannular ring dating to circa 1300-1150 BC. It is C-shaped in plan comprised of three circular-sectioned penannular rings soldered together. Each terminates in a straight and even break. Discussion: The form is consistent with other examples processed through the Treasure Act including 2021 T762 (Gard 2021) and 2012 T165 (Smith 2012) each of which is dated to the Middle Bronze Age. A complete but distorted wound wire or 'plaited' gold finger ring of Late Saxon date c. AD 900-1100. The ring is formed of three thick lengths of circular-sectioned gold wire, which have been plaited to form the bezel and shoulders. The triangular bezel has a dark blue gemstone that has been identified by Raman spectroscopy in the British Museums Department of Scientific Research as corundum, likely sapphire.
