An early modern to modern gold dental plate. The object comprises a gold or gold alloy plate, shaped to fit the mouth, with hooks to attach to remaining teeth and hold the set in place. The set appears slightly distorted but complete; there are two teeth mounted at the front. They are the central incisors, and are artificial, possibly carved from ivory but probably porcelain.
