Riseholme, Lincolnshire: 282 late Iron Age coins and comprises forty gold staters, 231 silver units, and eleven silver half-units, all North-Eastern types attributed to the Corieltavi. This is a relatively large hoard which appears to have been drawn from a circulation pool of local coinage that was dominated by inscribed issues which are thought to have been produced after 20 BC. Nine Iron Age coins were recovered by a number of metal-detector users at an organised metal-detecting rally in the parish of Stixwould and Woodhall, Lincolnshire. Seven of these coins were reported to the Finds Liaison Officer at the rally and brought to the British Museum in October 2008.
