A folded fragment of a gold band or ribbon with repousse linear ribs of probable Bronze age date c. 2100 BC - 1150 BC.
Description: the rectangular fragment has been folded twice into three layers. Unfolded it would have been approximately 20mm x 16mm. The visible long broken edge is split in three places, the edges folded inward with fresh breaks. The short side edges appear less ragged and possibly represent the original width of the ribbon. Description: A complete cast gold posy ring of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1625 - 1800.
The object is a finger ring composed of a hoop which wis circular in plan and a shallow D-shape in cross-section with a convex outer surface and flat inner surface. The ring is plain barring an inscription on the inner surface of the hoop. This reads ” Let love endure ~” with no traces of a makers mark

A possible fragment of a gold earring probably of Roman date (AD 43-300). The object is composed of the hook portion of an earring, the object is circular in cross section and U shaped in plan. Both ends taper to points. One end would have would have affixed to a decorative element, now missing.

Description: Gold posy ring. The hoop is of even width and D-shaped cross-section throughout, although with some wear. The curved exterior is undecorated, and worn to a matt finish. The flat interior is more glossy, and has the inscription in neat lower-case italic letters: Let vertue be thy guide.

A gold and gem finger ring of Medieval date, about AD 1150 - 1500, but most likely to be AD 1200 - 1300. It is a stirrup shaped ring, of angular D shaped cross-section on the hoop, with the sides rising up to a narrow upright bezel which is triangular in profile. There is a pentagonal setting at the apex. This holds a clear blue gem. It is white where damaged, perhaps suggesting it is glass. There is no other decoration, markings or inscription. It is 29.6mm long, 22.5mm wide, 19.7mm internal diameter, 5.4mm thick and 8.1g.
