Description: Gold late medieval to early post medieval finger ring. It exhibits a rectangular bezel, trapezoidal in section set with a single oval stone. The stone is a pale blue/lilac colour and appears to be some form of quartz, possibly an amethyst. The shoulders project from either side of the bottom of the bezel and taper from a width of 3.1mm to 1.9mm at the bottom of the band. Description: Gold unidentified ornament of Bronze Age date. The object consists of a strip of sheet gold formed into the shape of a pointed oval. At either end, the long edges of the band have been folded inwards in order to create the pointed terminals. Near the tip of each terminal is a circular perforation. The mount is in the form of an animal's head, constructed from a sub-rectangular sheet of gold to which has been soldered a separate gold sheet back-plate, leaving a hollow void inside.
