Reverse: Open-jawed wolf left standing on pelleted exurgal line with crescent and pellet motifs below, large pellet and triad of smaller pellets between legs. As ABC, p. 78, no. 1399; BMC (Hobbs), nos. 218-278. The coin appears to perhaps be struck from a debased gold alloy.

Obverse: stylised wreath with pellet-in-ring at centre quartering coin, three 'cloaks' in one angle, mask motifs made up of crescents in other three. Reverse: horse running right, 'cogwheel sun' between legs, pellet-in-ring and annulet motifs around horse's hindquarters, 'wheel' motif above. As ABC, p. 124, no. 2463; Hobbs nos. 365-366. This is one of only a few examples of this type recorded through the PAS, see also BUC-336A21, NARC273.
