A gold jewellery element, possibly a pin fastener from a bracelet dating to the second or third century AD. The element possessess a spherical head. From the underside of the head there extends a circular-section wire loop. The element measures 14mm in length, the head has a diameter of 4mm, the wire a thickness of 1mm. A potential parallel for this jewellery element can be seen in a gold bracelet from the Nikolaevo Treasure, now in the National Museum in Bulgaria (Ruseva-Slokoska 1991, 154, Cat. No. 144a). A second similar but sturdier element is known from the Piercebridge assemblage.

Gold roman finger ring that has a triple oval bezel consisting of a large central oval box setting that has beaded wire running around its base and large pellet soldered onto the outside edge of each corner. An incomplete gold Ear ring of Roman date (AD 100-300). The object is composed of a recurves wire hook which is circular in section. The wire broadens towards the attachment point in the centre of the back of the objects recessed aperture. The main portion of the object is composed of a tear drop shaped plate with a deep ovate recess at it's the centre. This would have held a gem which is now missing. Circumstances of Find The coins were found on 12/11/2017 by metal detecting on cultivated land. The coins were found close together. No pottery or other material relating to a container was discovered. A scatter of Roman coins are known from the parish but no other Roman material has been reported to the PAS from this field. There is a note on the Somerset HER (ref: 43281) based on an OS record card of 1965 that: 'A gold follis of Valens, in mint condition, was found when ploughing.
