An incomplete gold finger ring of Post-Medieval date, c. 1750 - 1900 AD. Description: The ring is in the style of a stirrup ring, sub-circular in plan with the bezel, shoulders and half of the hoop surviving. The hoop and shoulders are shown by a seam to be created from two separate plates, creating a hollow space between them. It is rectangular in cross-section and the same width all the way around the band. The band is composed of alternating simple moulded scrolls and ovals.
