A gold uninscribed South Western (Durotrigian) stater of Iron Age date, c. 60 BC to AD 20. Obverse: a line crossed by leaf to left and triplets, before 3 crescents below misc w. Revere: horse to left, ex line k, above line and twelve pellets, above tail wheel a, below pellet. As Hobbs (1996: plate 79) no. 2535, from the Corfe Common Hoard. Measurements: 16.9mm diameter, 3.9mm thickness, weight 6.23g.

The reverse depicts a stylised horse galloping right, a six-spoked wheel below, an anti-clockwise spiral in top left and a series of pellet-in-ring motifs in the field.Van Arsdell classification: Trinovantian G (1989, no. 1522-5). Dimensions: diameter: 16.60 mm; weight: 3.95g.

ABC no. 485, the 'Selsey two-face' or ABC 491, the 'Selsey S-type' (Cottam 2010:47-48). The reverse of this coin is very worn and almost indistinguishable, therefore it is unclear which of the above two issues this coin belongs.

Early Uninscribed British QC gold quarter stater. It has not been fully struck on the obverse - NB an area to the left and just above the 'line m' (Hobbs 1996). The diameter is 12x11.5, it is max 1mm thick and weighs 1.26g. Cf Hobbs 1996 no.486, which is about 2/3 the weight of the Wiltshire example. This is slightly outside the usual Hants/ Berks/ Sussex area of the British Q type stater.
