A complete gold cross, of Post Medieval to Modern date. It is completely plain except for an incised marginal line which continues around the whole item. Each arm of the cross ends in a trefoil shape - bifurcated with a central lobe. The uppermost arm has an integral flat circular extension which is pierced and holds a split gold ring for attachment to a chain. There is a worn, indecipherable maker's mark near the lower end of the long arm Dimensions: length 27.34mm; width 16.9mm; 1.23mm thick; 0.81g in weight

A gold ring made of two strands of twisted gold wire. The hoop is evenly sized all around the circumference and is 1.8mm thick. The internal diameter is 14.5mm. There are no diagnostic marks. The object is most likely of relatively modern date. Diameter: 17.8mm; Thickness: 1.8mm; Weight: 1.64g.

Date: Probably early 19th Century Description: Gold double loop with chased decoration, perhaps a loop for a pendant or watch. Discussion: The gold is a very red colour typical of the alloys used at this period. A complete modern gold fob-seal matrix with inset gem die (19th century AD). The artefact is very ornate with moulded foliate decoration. The die is rectangular with rounded corners. It is of a purple gem, probably amethyst, with a flat field and bevelled and faceted edges. Carved in intaglio in a 'Gothic' (Blackletter) script is the plea 'Remember me'. The lower element in which the die sits measures 18.75 by 16.25mm by 9.07mm high. Concealed in the top of the lower element is a small plait of hair under glass.
