Hoard consisting of two complete gold-plated cast penannular rings dating from the Middle to Late Bronze Age (c.1150-750 BC), and a probable Bronze Age (c. 1000 BC-750 BC) awl. The rings and awl were discovered within a few feet of each other. The penannular rings are in the shape of an oval-sectioned loop that tapers slightly towards the terminals. One of the rings is plain. The other is heavily corroded on the surfaces but appears to have ribbed decoration. A gold posy ring. The outer hoop is plain and the finger-ring is D-shaped in section. The inner hoop bears a two line inscription in upper-case '+ REMEMBER HIM WHOM THIS DID GEVE/ WHO YELDES HIS HART WHILES HE DOTH LEVE'. This is an unusual inscription which is not in The British Museum's collection or in J. Evans, English Posies and Posy Rings, Oxford, 1931.

A Post-Medieval gold finger-ring. The hoop is circular with a 'D' shaped cross-section being flat on the inner surface and convexly curved on the outer. The finger-ring weigh 5.85g, has an external diameter of 22.4mm. The band that forms the hoop has a width of 3.6mm and thickness of 1.9mm. The external surface is undecorated but dulled by shallow scratches and pits the result of wear while in use and post-depositional damage. Description: A gold signet (or seal) ring, probably dating to the seventeenth century. The ring has a flat oval bezel that is decorated with of a coat of arms. The coat of arms features a recessed rectangular zone (a 'fess') that is finely stippled positioned between three galloping horses; two above and one below. A medieval finger-ring of stirrup-shaped type, missing a fragment from its hoop and much distorted. The ring is gold and dates from the 13th century AD. The bezel has a setting for a stone which is missing. It measures 19mm across its widest point. The hoop is 1.7mm high by 1mm thick. The weight is 1.45g.

Hollow cast Roman gold finger-ring, oval hoop with smoothly swelling profile and flattened bezel set flush with an oval orangy-red carnelian intaglio. The intaglio depicts an animal, a mouse or possibly a rabbit (?) facing left on a corn ear with a circular, arrow type device below. The ring is rather squashed and damaged, probably after burial.
