A heavily damaged gold finger-ring of post-Medieval date. The convex outer surface of the squashed hoop bears a moulded pattern of decoration, much of which has been deliberately filed off. The remaining portions of the design suggest it comprised a series of quatrefoils interspersed with other elements, including a star within an oval border. The flat inner surface bears the legend 'x Mine x thine x', incised in flowing script. There are no marks visible. In its current condition the ring measures 18.9mm long, 12.5mm wide and 3.5mm high.
