Ref: North 1991: 47, 52. The coin has been folded (obverse facing outwards) and is worn and damaged in palces making full identification of the coin difficult. A complete gold medieval gem-set finger ring. The bezel is oval in shape and holds an in situ dark blue gemstone setting. To either side of this there is a small wedge-shaped moulding, creating a stepped appearance in profile. The band is narrow and D-shaped in cross-section. This style dates to the 13th to 14th centuries (Egan and Pritchard 2002, 326. fig 215; Oman 1974, 18-20). A number of comparable examples of this type have been reported as treasure and reported to the PAS see: BERK-57430E (2019T158), HAMP-6C5109 (2017T761), SUR-C32418 (2019 T997) and DUR-602602 (2019T35). …

A miniature medieval brooch, circular in form, with a flat back and rounded front. The front is decorated with punches simulating granulation separated by incised criss-crosses. The pin is intact, its loop bent around a bar which holds it in place. The pin tapers to a point and has a collar of punched decoration resembling that on the surface of the frame. The whole effect is very decorative. The brooch is gold and dates from the thirteenth century.

A Medieval mount, rectangular in shape and slightly distorted. The front surface is engraved with a depiction of the Holy Trinity, showing the seated figure of God the Father, holding aloft the Crucified Christ. The engraving was originally enamelled, and significant traces of black enamel remain in the recesses of the design. The mount is likely to have decorated a reliquary or a book cover. The mount is gold and dates from the late fifteenth or early sixteenth century.
