A fragment of Middle Bronze Age (probably Penard phase, c. 1300 - 1100 BC) flange- or bar-twisted gold torc. The fragment is straight with breaks at either end. The torc has a x-shaped cross-section with four flanges, although they twist in such a way as to give a circular cross-section around the flanges. The breaks are quite sharp, suggesting they could be quite recent. The bend is not quite at the centre of the object.

Plain gold band, scratched and worn, with the inscription: true love is the bond of peace. The inscription is recorded by Joan Evans (1931) in a late 16th century manuscript and the lettering is consistent with a 17th century date, but we know that 17th century lettering style continued well into the 18th century from the British Museum's dated sequence of mourning rings. In the absence of marks or any distinguishing decorative feature there is no firm evidence to date this pre 1704.

An inscribed gold finger ring of medieval date. The hoop is now bent but appears to have originally had an internal diameter of 20mm or more, suitable for a man's finger or for wear over a glove. The hoop has a plano convex cross section, 4.1mm wide by 1.4mm thick with an undecorated exterior. The interior surface has a legend scratched onto it in capital letters which reads: +THEBALGVTGVTHANI (to be read as “THEBAL GUTH GUTHANI”). An apparently complete, though slightly squashed, Late Bronze Age (1000-800 BC) gold penannular ring (or 'lock-ring'). It is hollow and triangular in cross-section, formed of two flat (angled) outer faces and an internal slightly concave face. The damage to one of the outer faces reveals a hollow interior and the faces formed of conjoined, narrow, circular-sectioned gold wires. There are sixteen of these wires on each outer face with an additional spinal wire at the outermost join and a wire forming the outer edges of the internal face along the opposite (inner) join. The inter…
