A complete Medieval gold annular brooch with moulded chevron decoration dating c. 1150-1400. The complete brooch survives with no damage. The frame is annular but not flat with curved semi-vertical sides. The hoop is formed from a thin band, (2.35mm wide), with a rectangular, convex cross-section which curves inwards to the aperture. A complete gold posy ring with internal inscription and external decoration dating to c.AD 1400-1500. The ring is circular in plan, although slightly flattened, and rectangular in cross-section. An inscribed gold finger ring of medieval date. The hoop is now bent but appears to have originally had an internal diameter of 20mm or more, suitable for a man's finger or for wear over a glove. The hoop has a plano convex cross section, 4.1mm wide by 1.4mm thick with an undecorated exterior. The interior surface has a legend scratched onto it in capital letters which reads: +THEBALGVTGVTHANI (to be read as “THEBAL GUTH GUTHANI”). The second letter G appears to be a combined letter G and H.

The frame comprises a narrow gold band with a flattened, hexagonal cross-section, (measuring 2.01mm wide x 1.67mm thick). A gold gem-set ring of Medieval date with an oval cabochon stone which remains in place. The bezel is constructed from gold sheet and is hollow and rectangular, 12.5mm by 11mm with a trapezoidal cross section which expands outwards and is 5.9mm thick. The stone is pale blue, most likely a large sapphire. The internal diameter of the hoop is 19.4mm. The hoop has a D-shaped cross section 1.5mm thick and tapers from the shoulders, where it is soldered to the bezel, around to the opposite side, where is has been deliberately cut at an oblique angle.

The band has a D-shaped profile and the exterior is decorated in an alternating spiral formation of plain bands of pale gold, and double beaded bands of rose gold.
