A fragment of a Roman gold coin, probably a contemporary copy of a solidus of the House of Valentinian (AD 364-78) with garbled legends. The obverse appears to be OH VALE[ ] which is probably copying D N VALE[NS or NTINIANVS P F AVG] and the reverse is [ ]ITVOR[ ] which most likely copies RESTIVTOR REI PVBLICAE or similar, with and emperor standing, holding Victory on globe and standard.
