A fragment of a possible Post Medieval copper alloy decorative end, c.AD 1800-1950. This comprises of a sphere of metal, polished to a high sheen, attached to a conical sheet of metal, which has been torn from the rest of the body and folded in on itself. It is impossible to determine the original size of this object, but the torn edges do show that this is not a gold-plated metal. It is likely to be a high-polished brass, given the colour and lack of oxidisation. A sub-rectangular gold binding, not a finger-ring, comprising a flat strip, 4 mm. wide and 0.77 mm. thick, decorated externally with a five-ribbed linear reeding. A butt join on one of the long sides is secured on the inner face by a small ?soldered strip (length 9 mm.).

A gold enamelled and jewelled object of yet to be determined use, possibly a pendant, dress-ornament or belt-fitting. Openwork cartouche, central white enamelled square setting containing a cut garnet, on cruciform with short arms within elaborate blue and white enamelled foliate frame. Triple-ribbed suspension loop, small pierced trefoil at foot. The back of the setting stands slightly proud within incised cruciform marking-out lines. A ‘6’ or ‘9’ incised on the back of the setting. The gold content was found to be approximately 92%, the inset stone is a garnet.

A circular disc of gold, with a hand cut 'milled' edge and a piercing through the central flan. The milled edge stands proud of the flan, more so on one side than the other. It is unclear what this item was part of or what it was used for; it might be part of a composite necklace or it may be part of a mount, possibly from a knife handle. It is likely to date after 1716, and therefore falls outside of the remit of The Treasure Act 1996.

Slightly curved gold strip, broken at both ends. The long edges are intact; one is lightly inturned. The outer surface bears 7 grooves parallel to the long edges giving a ridged effect. An unidentified gold or silver-gilt object. The object is a tiny cylinder with rounded sides. From one side projects a short rod and opposite is a shallow circular recess. Cast decoration comprises foliate shapes. The purpose is not clear but this may be a fitting for a watch of a pendant. It's date is likely to be 18th or 19th century. It was not therefore submitted under the Treasure Act.

Unidentified gold spherical decorative object,. The object is in two halves, both of which are rough hemispheres, which have a lip around them in order to connect the two halves. Although the object has been punctured roughly three times on each side, presumably from deposition, a small regularly punched hole near the lip of both pieces seems to suggest that this item was somehow suspended or used for decoration on a thin string or chord, though no attachment loop remains. Gold foliate accessory. It is made of fine pieces of gold, is broken in places and is therefore very delicate. Within a small circular recess to the front and bottom of this piece is green enamel. The presence of four loops at the corners suggests that it may have been sewn onto fabrics, though it was more than likely part of a necklace or bracelet. It is in the style of 19th-century revivalist jewellery and therefore is not classed as Treasure.
