Late North Eastern British Iron Age uninscribed gold quarter staters (attributed to the Corieltavi) struck circa 60 -20 BC are varieties of 'Lindsey Scyphate' S quarter staters. ABC 1773 type, BMC 3190.
Obverse: highly stylised boar
Reverse: S-shaped design with a ring-pellet in each cusp; a pair of anthropomorphic half-faces with curved brows triangular nose and round eyes positioned either side of the S-shape. Pellets fill the remaining space.

An complete Iron Age gold quarter stater, possibly 'Mossop Cruciform' type, c.65-40BC. ABC 797. The obverse has a cross with curved arms and central sun motif like the head of a dandelion. The cruciform shape is surrounded by two outline crescents that each form a lyre shape to the left and right of the central motif. Above and below the sun motif there are two petalled flowers or suns. The reverse of the coin has an annulate horse right, wheel below and floral sun above, as ABC 797.
