Gold object, possibly a bracelet of possible Late Bronze Age date (1100 BC - 800 BC). Plain folded sheet gold ribbon - the gold ribbon is consistently folded back on itself four times reducing the appreciation of the form. There do not appear to be any terminals so it can be assumed the gold formed a continuous band whose dimensions would be that of a bracelet. There is no visible decoration beyond the flared edges. Whilst there are minor fractures and impact marks, there appear to be recent in date. Sheet gold bracelets of comparable form and dimensions are found Britain and Ir…

Fragment of a gold bracelet of Late Bronze Age date (c. 1150 BC - c. 750 BC). Length 20mm, width 22mm and c. 0.5mm thick. Weight 3.53g. The fragment is a terminal of sheet gold which has been roughly flattened out. The terminal is oval in plan and adjoins a short remaining stretch of a broad band. At this end there is an old break. Undulations in the metal suggest that the band met the terminal in a strong curve; the original form can be reconstructed as a C-section band with an everted oval terminal.
