An incomplete hone, sub triangular in plan and rectangular in section. The fabric, examined under a magnifying lens appears to be a compacted sandstone, of a pale blue-grey colour.

A plano-convex spindlewhorl of sandstone. The spindlewhorl is quite large at 40 mm in diameter. It's central perforation measures 11 in diameter wide at the domed top and 12 mm in diameter at the flat bottom. The spindle whorl is decorated with two rows of concentric ring and dot decoration; the first row circling the perforation at the top consists of 6 ring and dots, and below this the other row consists of 16. An incomplete stone Plough Pebble of Medieval date (AD 800-1400). The object is sub-ovate with one flattened end, and one rounded pointed and tapering end. There is a negative scar at one end of the flattened section, most probably caused by post depositional processes, there is also a linear void in the rounded end.
This is a 'plough pebble' which was used by being hammered into the sole plate of a wooden plough.
The stone is red/salmon in colour and is probably quartzite.

A complete stone Plough Pebble of Early-Medieval to Medieval date (AD 900-1100). The object is ovate with one flattened end, and one rounded end.
This is a 'plough pebble' which was used by being hammered into the sole plate of a wooden plough.
The is probably quartzite and is light brown in colour.
