Four fragments of earthenware which are slip coated, mid 16th to 17th century (1550-1700 AD).  Two fragments are made of a medium orange fabric (one with a medium grey slip coat and the other with a dark brown slip coat). The third fragment is made from a light orange fabric and has a dark brown slip coat on both sides. The fourth fragment is made of a light orange fabric with a grey core and has a pale grey slip coat.  They all have fresh and abraded breaks on all sides.  They weigh 7.67, 6.47, 5.31 and 2.48 grams.

Large Post-Medieval earthenware vessel handle. The handle is broad at the end where it would have attached to the vessel, before tapering slightly. The other end is missing. The lower surface is convex and the upper flat with a ridge down its centre. The upper surface is decorated with deep incised diagonal lines and with straight lines across the central ridge. A small fragment of a glazed earthenware Post-Medieval vessel. The outer surface has a central section decorated with thumbprints, with the remains of a greenish glaze to either side of this. The fabric is fairly hard and bright orange in colour, with a slightly lighter inner core. The inner surface is very gritty in texture. It is tempered with fine mica and very plentiful fine quartz (0.5mm), the second of which is visible to the eye as a fine white coating on the inner surface. Medieval floor border tile, rectangular and undecorated, length 135mm, width 65mm, thickness 22-24mm. Three edges are knife trimmed to produce a slight chamfer so that the under side of the tile is slightly smaller than the upper surface. The tile is one of a pair made from a square tile, scored for breaking apart after firing. One edge shows the scar where the halves were joined. The tile is well covered with an orange / green lead glaze which has flowed down over the cut edges. It is of local manufacture and dates from the 13th or 14th century.

Eight sherds from several drinking vessels dated to the post medieval period (1650 – 1720). At least one of the sherds is from a round bellied relatively squat mug or tankard. The fabric varies across the sherds but is predominately Midlands Purple Ware, ione sherd may be a form of Staffordshire Red Ware, but the fabric is very close to the purple-ware.
