The hoard was possibly associated with burial 1, an adult male aged 30-40 (due to staining on the right femur). Two other burials (another adult male and an unsexed juvenile aged 13-15 were also present in the grave. It is also possible the hoard was inserted at a later date - the context was disturbed on discovery.
