A fragment copper alloy Acorn Mount of Post-Medieval date (AD 1600-1700). The object is styled in an acorn pattern. The object is composed of the rounded bottom half and is decorated with a cross-hatched pattern that form the cup of the acorn, the upper end lower ends both terminate in old, abraded breaks. Ceramic building material. Buff reduced fabric with occasional calcareous inclusions [rock] to length 4mm. Handmade roof tile fragment with one straight edge, and with the imprints of a sanded surface on its underside where the green or unfired tile was laid, and either glaze or vitrification traces on the smoothed upper surface. The glaze might suggest this to be part of a ridge tile or roof furniture, which were often glazed; the object is thinner than a plain ceramic roof tile. A heavily abraded sherd of hand-made Bronze Age pottery, probably in the Deverel-Rimbury or possibly post Deverel-Rimbury plainware tradition. The fabric is reduced grey with an oxidised reddish exterior and a calcined flint temper. The sherd has a curve to it suggesting it forms part of the side of a beaker or urn. 4 fragments of a puddingstone quern of probable Roman date. Puddingstone is distinctive conglomerate containing rounded red flint pebbles within a siliceous matrix, the main sources of which lie in Hertfordshire. A complete copper-alloy bracelet of Roman date (AD 250-410). The bracelet is composed of a recurved strip, which is broadly rectangular and D-shape in cross-section. From the squared terminal the side of the strip gradually narrow to an old worn transverse break. Most of the strip is plain. The larger terminal is decorated with four transverse grooves of varying width and depth. The underside is relatively flat and undecorated. Length: 55.13mm, Width: 63.87mm, Thickness: 2.92mm, Weight: 10.0g All surfaces have a mottled light to mid brown patination and are heavily worn and abraded.

A complete Medieval cast copper alloy key, c.AD 1300-1500. The shaft is round in section and hollow, with a lozenge-shaped bow. The bit consists of two parts, with a deep, rounded cleft beween. The bit at the terminal is C-shaped, the other bit closer to the bow is scooped, appearing almost L-shaped. This key has a mottled green and brown patina and is worn and corroded. A group of 58 copper alloy lace tags (also known as aglets, aiglets or lace chapes) of Medieval to Post-Medieval date, about 1200 - 1650. Complete examples are mainly of similar dimensions, approximately 30mm long, 3mm in diameter and with a weight of 0.4g, though some are broken and incomplete. Most have longitudinal seams and a circular attachment hole at one end. Most are plain, but at least 2 have a stamped or moulded diaper or lattice pattern. A small, rounded, garnet bead, of unknown date, Roman - Post Medieval, AD 43 - 1900. It is an irregular, smooth, rounded shape and has a circular hole through it (about 1mm diameter) nearer to one end. The bead is 3mm long and 2.7mm in diameter. It weighs 0.1g. Garnets are frequently found on the Thames foreshore (LON-0C7DE2 for example) and another worked garnet bead is LON-0335F7, but they can seldom be dated without additional context.
