A possible burin formed on a crude blade of white flint. Unknown date, Mesolithic to Bronze Age (10,000 - 1000 BC). It is unclear where the flint was struck from. The faces are uneven, and most have a stepped termination scar. One end of the blade is much narrower and thinner. One side of this projection has short, abrupt, sub-parallel retouch, possibly to form a burin. There appears to be a removal across the end of the spur from the retouched edge. A flint possible burin of unknown date, Mesolithic to Iron Age, 9000 BC - 1 BC. It is formed on a utilised natural secondary flake of flint which is light grey with some tan staining. There is cortex on one edge. The pointed end has some flaked removals leading away form the working point, perhaps to form a crude burin. It is 42mm long, 23.3mm wide nad 8.3mm thick. 7.7g.

A worked piece of flint, probably a burin or possibly a borer, probably of Mesolithic date, 9000 BC - 4000 BC. It is formed on a tertiary flake of tan coloured flint. It is triangular in cross-section, and tapers to a point at the distal end. The right dorsal face is covered with previous removal scars. A burin spall has been removed from each side of the distal end, leaving a wide tip at right angles to the flake. The proximal left edge is also retouched with short, abrupt, scaled removals. There is abrupt, sub-parallel retouch along the distal end of the dorsal face to form a clear point at the upper right hand corner. A strip of light pink cortex has been retained on the dorsal face running from the top left corner down to the proximal end. The ventral face shows a clear bulb of percussion but no retouch. Secondary soft hammer struck flake, of light grey flint, now patinated white towards the distal end and one lateral edge. The bulb of percussion has been removed/snapped off and two burin spalls have been struck down the thinner lateral edge from the side of the platform, ending with classic hinge terminations, the steeper of the lateral edges has been finely retouched on the dorsal face edge, the thinner of the lateral edges is damaged and may have been originally left sharp. The retained limestone cortex on the proximal end exhibits quite a high degree of wear, and there is wear gloss on most of the chert.
