A complete Neolithic polished flint axehead (4000 BC-2100 BC). This axehead is narrow and slender. It is pointed oval in plan and side view. The upper half has been flaked on both sides and the lower half is polished. It is possible that the axehead was originally polished overall and may have been remodelled by flaking over the polished area. In plan and side view, the polished part tapers inwards towards the evenly curved cutting edge. Each side of the polished part has been flattened by polishing.
