A flint plano-convex knife of early Bronze Age date. The knife has been made from a long and narrow but fairly thick waste flake. The unworked ventral side is covered in faint ripples. There is invasive retouch all over the dorsal side. The knife has a semi-circular cross section, a slight longitudinal curve and tapers at the distal end to an obtuse point. The light brownish grey flint has a mid gloss patina. Dimensions: 53.29mm by 14.55mm by 8.08mm. Weight: 6.75g

tertiary flint waste flake. Heavily patinated mid grey flint (thge patina is thick, white and matt). Irregular shaoped flake with a wide striking platform and shallow bulb of percussion on the ventral surface. Waves of percusiion are also visible. The dorsal surface is concave due to a large flaking scar which closely resembles the shape of this flake. Neolithic to Bronze Age.

At the proximal end is the striking platform, below which on the ventral side is the bulb of percussion, a prounuced bulbar scar and slight ripples which radiate for the whole length of the scraper. The distal end has been retouched. There is also some edge damage on the lateral edges. The mottled light and mid grey flint has a low gloss patina. At the proximal end is the striking platform, below which on the ventral side is the bulb of percussion and pronouced ripples which radiate for the whole length of the blade. There is some retouch on both lateral edges of the blade. On one side this is only towards the distal end, but on the other it extends along most of its length. There is some damage and possibly some minor retouch around the bulb. Part of the distal end has been broken off the scraper. On the dorsal surface there are many flaking scars, including some invasive retouch towards the edge. This probably formerly extended around the missing edge.
