A possible Mesolithic-Early Bronze Age fabricator tool. The object is long and narrow, although relatively thick, with steep re-worked edges. The distal end has been finely worked into a curve, possibly to enable the careful application of pressure to the edges of flint flakes. The flint has a very well developed greyish white patina except at the proximal end where damage has revealed the dark-blue colour of the flint beneath. The tool measures 79.55mm long, 23.11mm wide at the distal end, tapering to 13.07mm wide at the proximal end, 12.55mm thick and weighs 32.64g.
