A piece of debitage of possible Neolithic date c. 4000-2400BC. The flake is worked from a secondary flake of very dark grey glossy flint. There is a thin layer of cortex on one surface. A prominent bulb of percussion is visible  as is an eraillure scar from which sparse but clear conchoidal ripples emanate. The flake is 24.8mm long, 23mm wide, 13.3mm thick and weighs 7.18 grams.
