A mostly complete barbed and tanged arrowhead dating to the early Bronze Age (c.2400-1500 BC). This arrowhead has been knapped from a dark brown piece of flint and there is no cortex remaining. It is broadly sub-triangular in plan with sharp point and is lentoid in cross section. It is broadly symmetrical in shape, with two notches chipped into the base of the flint to separate the barbs and the tang, both barbs are small and blunt. Small flint flake, possibly the start of blade. Probably dating to the Neolithic- Bronze Age period. The flint is a grey colour with some red staining on the back, from the soil it was in.
