A complete light-brown flint barbed and tanged arrowhead of late Neolithic to Bronze Age circa 2500 BC to 1500 BC. Triangular shaped with slight inward curving towards the barbs. The dorsal surface has some cortex remaining running along the left-hand side, and retouch on all edges and the whole surface. The ventral surface has retouched edges sloping inwards to a central flat platform. also From the ventral viewthe left hand barb is the same length as the tang, but longer than the other barb. Length 31mm, width 24mm, thickness 5.3mm, weight 3.35g.

Flint. Probably an Earlier Neolithic arrowhead dating to c.4000-3300 BC. Low angle, stepped covering retouch on one side. Pronounced bulb of percussion with faint ripples, indicating a soft hammer. Short flat platform. This flint object has a white patina, indicating a long-term burial in an alkaline (chalk) environment that has recorticated the surface of the flint. Length: 43.87 mm; Width: 21.96 mm; Thickness: 6.46 mm; Weight: 7.36g

It is triangular in shape with two notches chipped into the base to separate the barbs and tang. Both faces have been worked with covering, scaled and low-angle retouch. The arrowhead is 38mm in length and 27mm at maximum width.

An incomplete flint Arrowhead of late Neolithic to Bronze Age date (2500-1200 BC). The object is a barbed and tanged form and is sub-triangular in plan and shallowly pointed oval in section. One of the tangs is missing. Both dorsal and ventral surfaces have covering stepped flaking. The left and right hand edges have fine, low angled retouch. The lithic retains no cortex and is therefore a tertiary flake. The flint a light orange/brown in colour. Length: 42mm, Width: 26mm.

A complete Late Neolithic flint oblique arrowhead manufactured on a tertiary flake (2500 BC-2100 BC). This arrowhead is sub-triangular in plan. The edges of the two shorter sides have both been worked on both sides. The edge of the long side is worked on one side only. The arrowhead is thickest at the angle where the two shorter sides meet; it then thins to the long side. The arrowhead is mid-brown in colour.

A flint arrowhead of the Late Neolithic-Early Bronze Age. The flint has a white, patinated surface and is triangular in shape with scalar retouch along the edges. Three notches along the edges of the arrowhead represent damage which probably occurred after burial. The arrow seems to have been originally tanged and barbed, but these have broken away and been lost, leaving the inner unpatinated flint exposed.

A Neolithic 'triangular' arrowhead. The arrowhead is sub-triangular in plan but appears not to be broken across the base. The arrowhead is worked fully across both faces. The shape is more reminiscent of a barbed and tanged arrowhead, and though the object looks complete it is possible that a break has now removed these defining features. Butler illustrates one that is not too dissimilar (p.160). He refers to them as 'triangular arrowheads' and says that it is not clear whether they are variants of a type or a type in their own right. A barbed and tanged flint arrowhead of the Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age (2500 BC-1500 BC). The arrowhead is made from a semi-translucent milky grey-brown flint and has a squared tang with rounded barbs, one of which is damaged at the tip. The flint has been retouched by pressure flaking across all surfaces. The arrowhead is slightly smaller than many other examples of the type found on this database, e.g. ESS-3D3A23, SWYOR-2CB2F5.
