A complete flint implement of possible Neolithic to Bronze Age date (3500 BC-800 BC).
The tool is sub-rectangular in plan and cross-section and has been manufactured on a flat piece of flint. The dorsal surfaces has a sandy/buff coloured cortex and the edges have been knapped to an abrupt angle with short, scaled and stepped removals. The ventral surface is flat and featureless and is covered in a thin layer of greyish brown cortex.
This tool has an unusual form and may have been used for scraping.
