A Mesolithic-early Neolithic slightly curved flint blade measuring 55mm long by 16mm across in a black unpatinated flint.
There is some retouching round the bulb of percussion and in places on the cutting edges. The tip appears to have been snapped.

A flint flake worked to form an awl or borer. The tool has been formed from a blade with parallel side edges. On the dorsal side, the left distal end is elongated and forms a point, with signs of wear on both sides. The bulb of percussion is visible on the ventral suface and a very small amount of cortex remains at the proximal end. The flint is pale brown in colour with slight patination of the surface. Probably of Early Neolithic date.

A Mesolithic flint tranchet axe. The axe is oval in shape and a light grey colour with iron staining. A small amount of cortex remains in the centre of one side and in small patches on the side edges. It has a shallow biconvex profile, although one side edge slopes downwards, giving the profile a twisted appearance. Flakes have been removed from the surface on both sides; on one side a large flake has been removed at a possible later date, leaving a step in the side edge.

A flint scraper, brown in colour with a white patina developing, roughly sub-circular in shape. The flint is roughly faceted at the distal and proximal ends, to create a scraper. The ventral surface is slightly concave and the dorsal surface convex with a central ridge, creating a triangular profile. The ventral surface is slightly stepped at the distal end.

A struck flint flake, light brown in colour with a white patina starting to develop. The bulb of percussion is visible on the ventral surface. The dorsal surface is slightly convex with steeper side edges, creating a flake that is almost rectangular in shape and profile. Circular natural flaws in the flint can be seen on both sides.
