A fragment of a post-Medieval roof tile of earlier date (c.1500-1700 AD).  The fragment is unpatterned, sub-rectangular in plan and slightly curved with a raised concave pattern. The raised parts may in fact be part of the tile's edge decoration. Both the interior and exterior is light orange with darker orange edges. Its core is grey, with very fine inclusions. It has even so slight traces of a brown-red glaze. Measurements: Length 35.28mm, width 28.36mm, thickness 7.10mm and weighs 7.76 g.

A complete Medieval ceramic decorative floor tile dating to circa AD 1200-1400.It is square in plan and section with bevelled edges. The fabric is a orange-red and is machine made. The front and back were glazed though no trace of glazing survives on the edges.
