A Post Medieval tin alloy "American plantations token" minted under James II for use in the American plantations, dating 1688. Obverse: James II on horseback, left, IACOBVS II D G MAG BRI FRAN ET HIB REX. Reverse: four crowned shields of England, Scotland, France and Ireland linked by chains, VAL 24 PART REAL HISPAN. This token was valued at one 24th of Spanish real, or one and a half farthings.

A complete silver modern finger ring, dating to after AD 1948. The coin is made out of a silver two shilling of George VI (AD 1936-52). On the inside the inscription of the coin is visible: TWO SHILLINGS 1948// FID. DEF + IND IMP. The second inscription sits at 180 degrees to the other. There is no decoration on the outside of the ring. The ring is D shaped in cross section, and is a silver grey colour. It measures 23.1mm in diameter, 6.0mm in width and weighs 5.06g.

This is a machine-made thimble with regularly spaced pits across the surface and a decorative cross design on the top. There is a narrow, triple-banded rim around the base. The pitting is broken by a wide, plain space running up the back of the thimble.
