Two-part lead cloth seal with connecting strip.
Disc 1 has a shield with a central device and a rectangle above it on one side. The other side has a privy mark on the top of the rivet (from the reverse of disc 2), with the intials I and ?P with three branching flowers and leaves behind. There are indistinct traces of a cloth impression on this side.
Disc 2 is plain on one side, with a hollow centre and the reverse has the remainder of the privy mark; a beaded circular border with a knot at the bottom.

Russian lead seal. On one side it the english equivalent of 'b (middle letter looks like an English 'R') and the third letter translates into the English letter 'n'. Underneath these letters is the date 1797.On the opposite side I have translated the letters as follows..the uppermost letter is 'd', underneath this there are the letters 'ye d m ye(?)' and underneath these the letters 't r ye v' and at the bottom the letters 'n' and a letter I can't decipher.
