Fragment of a stamped copper alloy sheet mount, probably a belt mount. The fragment appears to be from the bottom left corner with a straight lower edge and a zig-zag left edge. This left edge has a pierced circular hole for attachment. The raised decoration appears to show a bird in the central section, with its head turned to look behind it to the left. The detail in the right hand section is not clear but may represent foliage.

This silver coin was probably minted during the reign of Edward I (1272-1307). The obverse shows a crowned bust facing within a circle of pin points. On the reverse there is a long cross patte with three curved pellets within each quarter. This identification is tentative, since the inscriptions and images are extremely worn.

A small silver coin which may be a Henry IV penny of York, 'light coinage' (North 1960 Vol 2, plate 1 figure 17). This identification could be confirmed by the presence of the obverse inscription 'HENRIC' and the reverse inscription 'DUNOLM' (Durham)(North 1960, Vol. 2. page 50, number 1364). However the coin is too worn for either to be legible.

This circular copper alloy jetton was probably made between 1302-1307 but the provenance is not certain (Mitchiner 1988). The obverse shows a ‘shield bearing three lions (of England), passant (left):ornaments around: no border’ (Mitchiner 1988, page 11 plate 199-200). The reverse shows ‘a short cross moline, pellet in each angle: border pellets (Mitchner 1988 as above). Both sides of this jetton are worn and covered with earth. The base colour is now green.

This copper alloy rose orb jetton was made by Hans Krauwinckel II in Nuremberg between 1586 and 1635. Its type is found commonly on the Thames foreshore. The obverse shows ‘three crowns, alternately with three Lis, arranged centrifugally revolving around a central Rose with 6 heart shaped petals’. The marginal inscription reads ‘ HANNS.KRAVWICKEL: IN.NVRENBE’ (Mitchiner 1988). On the reverse an imperial orb is depicted ‘surmounted by a cross patty, within a treasure with three main arches’- The marginal inscription reads ‘GLVCK. BESC[---] ISTVN EWERT (Mitchiner 1988).…

Copper alloy finger ring, the band made from a flat strip of copper alloy with diagonal ridges. The ridges terminate short of the bezel with a row of three vertical dots and a floral motif. The band is not a complete circle; each end is attached to the underside of the bezel. The bezel is flat and square with flattened corners. There is a stamped monogram in the form of an M with one cross above and one forming either side of the M. The object has been flattened.
