Broad period: MEDIEVAL
County: Warwickshire

The seal is made of two circular discs, joined by a connecting strip. One disc has a integral rivet. Both discs are damaged and broken, but complete. The seal has a uniface design which consists of a beaded border within which is a shield. The shield has a long cross in the centre. There are three '*'s, one placed at the terminal of the upper arm terminal and one at the left-hand arm terminal, with the third * placed in the upper left-hand corner of the shield. If there is any further decoration, it is not visible as the stamp was struck off-centre on the disc.
