A Post Medieval copper-alloy single-loop buckle, dating to c.AD 1500 - 1650 only missing its pin. The buckle is an elongated D-shaped/sub-rectangular in plan with slightly concave long edges a flat stap bar and convex outer edge. In cross section the frame is a pointed oval but angled so that the inner edge is higher than the lower edge. The ourer edge of the rounded part of the frame has a projecting pointed oval knop extending from its apex. This region has moulded decoration to accentuate the design and create a floral motif. The main body has only a little of its original edge which is curved indicating it was probably circular in plan originally. However its is now ragged with a worn front surface. The object is made of a rectangular flat plate which is truncated by a straight diagonal break running across one surfaces. At its terminal there is a projecting rectangular tab that is slightly crescent in profile. An incomplete Medieval cast copper alloy anthropomorphic buckle frame. The plate is openwork in the form of a stick figure, with stylised arms forming sub rectangular loops on either side of a slim body with bifurcating legs below, these ending in old breaks. The body and limbs are decorated with rocker arm zig zag decoration. The head is ovate and convex projecting out from the flat body and has crude features of eyes and mouth defined by deep incisions. From the top of the head projects a rounded attachment loop retaining a rivet for attachment to the strap.

An incomplete cast copper alloy Roman brooch of Colchester derivative Harlow double-lugged type dating to the first century AD. The arms are hemi-cylindrical and ridged, with traces of a white metal coating. The underside of the head has a double lugged flange at the centre for the spring and pin, now missing. The bow is narrow and strongly arched, triangular in cross section and decorated with a ridge along the spine. The foot and the catchplate are missing.

The fragment is L-shaped in plan representing most of the narrow edge of the frame and half of one long edge. It is slightly curved in profile.
