Silver gilt pilgrim badge. A circular plate bearing the framed image of the Virgin and Child, the Virgin crowned and with sceptre and the Child haloed, viewed against a cross-hatched ground within a cabled inner border, a gutter, and an outer frame which is externally lined. A probably integrally cast D-section bar passes behind the image and across its flat plain back and is broken at the site of a sharp curve. Gilded overall, chipped. The finder kindly offers the suggestion that the object was a pendant, but the image is designed to be viewed when the bar is horizontal. This feature …

Incomplete Medieval cast tin alloy buckle, c.AD 1250-1500. This is a single-looped, D-shaped buckle with a scooped reverse face. There are no notches on the frame or strap bar where the pin would have sat. The frame is damaged with pieces missing and edged with old breaks. There is no evidence that the frame has a core of copper alloy that was tinned, suggesting an older Medieval date of this buckle. There is no decoration on any face of the frame.

A leg from a cooking vessel, probably a small cauldron of late medieval to post medieval date. The leg has been broken from the body of the vessel and is triangular in shape with hexagonal cross section, tapering to a small flat foot. The surface appears to be heavily fire damaged, perhaps suggesting that the fragment was in the process of being melted down for recycling.
